RauhRacing has completed the long-awaited first shakedown of our Renault Twingo C06 race prototype on the legendary Nordschleife — and the timing couldn’t have been more iconic: during the 24h Nürburgring race week, as part of the official Wednesday permit testing.

Wearing its first-ever prototype livery and carrying many of our early partner logos, the Twingo took to the Green Hell for the first time in its race-prepared form.

A Major Milestone

The car, finished only days before thanks to the relentless effort of Motorwerk, completed 30 flawless laps.
For a first prototype, this performance exceeded all our expectations and proves we already have an extremely solid base to develop from.

We now know exactly where the car can be improved, how it behaves under real race conditions, and what the next steps toward full race readiness will be.

A Full Day on the Nordschleife

The all-day testing session allowed us to gather crucial data on reliability, temperature management, suspension behavior, and overall drivability. Every lap brought new insights — and the Twingo delivered consistently without major issues. A loose brake pad was the only minor concern for the team, and it was resolved in no time.

A Special Week in Motorsport

After the shakedown, the team stayed on-site to watch the 24h Nürburgring, connect with fans, and speak with fellow teams and partners.
