We put the Twingo on the Nordschleife for the first time during 24h race week and ran 30 clean laps. For a first prototype finished days earlier, the base looks genuinely solid.
We finally put the Twingo on the Nordschleife, and the timing couldn't have been better: right in the middle of 24h Nürburgring race week, during the official Wednesday permit testing.
Wearing its first prototype livery and carrying our early partner logos, the Twingo C06 hit the Green Hell in race trim for the first time. We'd finished the car only days earlier, so this was the moment we'd find out what we actually had.
It ran 30 laps without drama. For a first prototype, that's well beyond what we let ourselves hope for, and it tells us the base is genuinely solid. We now know how the car behaves under real conditions and exactly where to push next.
A full day out there gave us the data we came for: reliability, temperatures, how the suspension works, how the car drives lap after lap. Every lap added something. The only hiccup all day was a loose brake pad, sorted in no time.
After the running was done we stayed on-site for the rest of the week, watched the 24h, and spent time with fans, fellow teams, and partners. A good week to be doing this.
